62nd Post Pre-trib Rapture - My Comments continued

In the previous post I was talking about Chapter 12 of Revelation, and the New Testament teachers say that the Church is not mentioned after that. I beg to differ, look at the woman who is protected by God for 1,260 days, and He feeds her during this time. In Old Churches, we sing "The Church is One Foundation", in that song; clearly the Church is called the bride of Christ. I believe that the woman depicted here is a symbol for the Church being the Bride of Christ. Everyone focuses on the wrath being dished out on the earth, but they don't seem to notice who is doing the dishing out of wrath, and where they came from. The Bible clearly teaches that if you follow what God teaches, He will protect you. God banned Adam and Eve, from the Garden of Eden, God did not kill them. God rescued Noah from the Flood. The Three in the Firey Furnace, Daniel in the Lion's Den, etc. So, if the ones being destroyed by God's wrath are not His people, then why are His people afraid to be around during the tribulation period. If God's people are not around during the tribulation period, why did Jesus say in Matthew 24 "When you see the Abomination that causes desolation standing in the Holy Place, let the reader of the prophet Daniel, know and understand. Jesus goes on to say for the sake of the elect, He shortened the length of those days". If we are up in Heaven with Christ already, WHO is Jesus talking about?? What would we care how long the tribulation period is?? I will be adding New Testament verses to this blog, when I start to teach Revelation. I am currently teaching Acts and the Epistles that were written during this time period. It will probably be after the first of the year, before I start to post more consistently. Until then...

61st Post Pre-Trib Rapture? - My Comments

Most Prophetic Bible scholars will tell you they believe in the pre-trib rapture. Biblically, I have a hard time with that idea. Daniel chapter 7: 25 says that the anti-christ is going to be fighting with the elect (saints). If the elect, were raptured before the anti-christ can come, and therefore have to be already in Heaven with Jesus; then who are these elect that Daniel is talking about?? Then when Jesus told Peter "Upon this rock I will build this church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it"(Matthew 16: 18). Why would Jesus call His Church home before Satan will be the strongest on earth?? If Jesus is the Son of God, and the one coming back, why would you hold to something that contradicts what Jesus Said!!

We are making our church's seeker friendly, why is this?? These same people believe in the pre-trib rapture. If the elect, go to heaven, who will be the church that is left?? You are not teaching the Bible, and so cannot train up elect to replace you.

Some of them teach that the church is not mentioned after chapter 12 in Revelation, so therefore this is the proof for the pre-trib rapture. Maybe, the reason they missed it is because they look at the Church being only New Testament believers. If this is true, then how are we linked with the remnant of the Old Testament, and joined with Abraham, justified because he died believing that God would keep His Word!! The church is going to be torn apart by apostacy, you are seeing the start of it now. Check the Bible verses to the right of this blog, they are there to keep me grounded. The Bible is God's Word and as such it Can Not Lie, or Contradict Itself!
